I have experience making responsive web sites for clients from scratch and with external libraries like Bootstrap. I enjoy bringing ideas to life and making modern, functional websites.
Web Apps
I enjoy writing modular, maintainable code to create interactive web apps. Although my focus is usually on the frontend, I've recently begun to develop fullstack applications using the PERN stack.
Design & Accessibility
I love creating clear, effective and attractive UIs that follow accessibility standards. I also have experience altering existing sites to be WCAG compliant.
About me
Developer based in Columbus, OH
I am a motivated front-end developer with experience designing and implementing responsive websites and apps. I enjoy making things that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and useful. I'm a perpetual learner. Along the way, I have earned both a B.A and M.S. in Geology, I've taught myself web development, and even taught both science and coding to 4-6th grade students for 3 years. My broad background has prepared me well to learn and think logically. However, I also thrive when prompted to produce original, inventive ideas. I find coding to be the perfect balance of logic and creativity. I'm constantly working to improve and broaden my skillset with relevant technologies. Currently, I'm using and learning TypeScript,Node, Express, PostgreSQL, React Hook Form, Chart.js, and Auth0.

Le Word App
A Wordle clone created with react that uses the Bing Spell Check API and the Random Words API. Stats are retained in localStorage.
Climate Comparison App
React app that compares climates between two locations by using a geocode API and the MeteoStat Climate API. Recharts was used to create graphs.
Stork Registries
A baby registry app built with the PERN stack, Typescript, and Auth0 for authentication of registry owner. Database temporarily down while switching hosting platform.
Coiltek Website
Custom website made for Coil Technology, Inc. This site was made using html, css, and bootstrap. It is deployed through bluehost.
Backstage Talks
Recreation of the Backstage Talks website (https://backstagetalks.com/). React app that implements responsive scroll snapping and animated background-color transitions.
